In the case of this small bathroom, we used 12x24 wall tile and added a touch of color in the niche and a glass shelf, and a semi frameless glass shower enclosure. This change created a bigger space in the shower and a more pleasant and nice experience. Also, if you are deciding to change or not, you can think about safety. Because accessing a walk-in shower is safer than entering a bathtub. It all depends on your likes! But in this bathroom the change was worth it by adding value and giving it a modern look.
