Sometimes a space needs to be not only beautiful but also needs to fulfill a specific need. This bathroom was designed for an older blind person, who needs to have the ability to access her belongings and to the shower. We removed a non-load bearing wall by opening a closet in order to add more space in the bathroom. We replaced the bathtub with a walking shower, with grab bars, four small shelves and glass doors. We replaced the vanity and created extra storage with a custom cabinet and shelves to match the vanity. As result, it is a functional and elegant bathroom.
