In this project our customer desired to have a bigger living room and take advantage of the space under the stairs to create a coat closet and on the other side a pantry. We had to add two additional foundation supports for the framing and install two steel beams in a T form for proper support. Additionally, pipes in the load bearing wall needed to be relocated and the floor repaired and refinished. As a result, the entrance of the house is more open and inviting. We created a secret door for the coat closet, the living room has more space, and our customers are very happy with the outcome.
