In this project we opened a Pass-Through Window in a load bearing wall, with the purpose of connecting the living room with the dining and kitchen area in order to unite the two rooms. This provides a brighter dining area, a bigger social space to interact with family and friends and a sense of spaciousness. We had to add additional foundation support for the framing. We created an ark Pass-Through with a wood mantel, stained, and gloss topcoat to match with the furniture in the living room.
