This project has a knee wall with a load bearing column which divides the living room with the dining room, making the dining area small and crowded. In order to remove it we had to add additional foundation support for the framing and install a 20-foot steel beam to support the upstairs framing. The final, an open living area, including a larger entry into the Kitchen. We replaced the carpet with luxury vinyl plank including the stairs and the guest bathroom (you can see it in Ameron Bathroom) and a new paint job creating one unified space.
